I tried doing Shuteye in the fall of 2012. But it started snowing so we abandoned ship. I've been meaning to try again since 2013.

Bass Lake area, if you know where that is. Central Sierras, east of Merced.

It was actually not bad sleeping diagonally/fetal once in a while. Better milage than having a RTT in my opinion. Please let me know your plans I would like to join. I am doing contractual work so i can miss a day.

Lol! Minds change, I suppose. I was having a conversation with jbumx2 about it, and it piqued my interest again. I looked into licensing some, and it didn't seem too difficult, or the equipment expensive. After you backed out, they had an opening, so I made my decision quickly to snag it.

The X-trip will help me decide on the spring trip; I'm going solo for the X trip, but am hoping to bring the family in the spring for the wildflowers, if it's not too tough/long for them.
