^^^i will end up sending my ecu to them cause buying and doing the programing yourself you need to know things about afr-air fuel ratio and im sure lots of other things i dont know.

Kamaa, uprev reprgrams the stock ecu to learn new goals. Gains are across the board even without mods. I dont know much about it but it looks intetresting.

Toyniss, I dont think thats what they were getting at. For $700 you get the ability to download their maps as they make them. IMO, with the dedicated people on here... we will probally have a wide selection in no time. Probally have a different map for each mod combo. I could be wrong.

^^^^dan that is one of the options-to disable your truck and mail them the ecu with list of mods/vin/etc. and they do the programming for you.

but yes you can buy the stuff and be able to do it yourself, im just not savvy enough to know computers/cars programming myself so it will be easier for me to do the mailing in option and know that i didnt screw up the afr or something.

I read into the whole uprev thing and it sounds pretty good. ill probably just go there this summer when i leave for college. the only thing i would like to know is can we still use the cruise control or is it only used for changing maps? cause if its only for maps i think they should sell a stand alone display like the edge products so we can change maps view vitals and maybe hold another map or two. just a thought.

from my understanding, cruise control is stil funtional but you can also toggle through maps while the cruise isnt activated. If you do not have cruise you have to stop and load maps via laptop.
