care to share? I haven't really gotten out and rode around much up there...I know of McKinney Mine road. Its just down the street from our place. That's fun on the fourwheeler.

Im not far from there, the road thing all depends on what you are looking to do. I know a few gravel roads which are fun, but I dont know much of the wheelin scene around me. Its kind of sad.

Hello from Franklin NC. Way over here in Western NC. Close to the home of the Dragon's Tail. (318 turns in 11 miles) up hwy 129. Went up it one time on my way to Alcoa TN to see about my truck. It's more of biker thing but it was still fun. Had to stop 3 times because the wifey got sick. Nice ride to Highlands NC from here. 3 or 4 water falls to pass by. Oh and Franklin is the Gem capitol of the world.

mckinney mine is paved then turns to dirt road, then turns into a fire road and goes all the way down little switz mountain. I ride it all the time on my atv when i'm up there. The trails are big enough for a vehicle and i've seen two jeeps on the trails....

i'd say the trail part of the road is in a 2-3 out of 5 for a vehicle.

I'm just looking for some easy to moderate-easy trail riding. Something where i'll need to use 4wd but won't kill anything....
