I want to take a ride up to Black Mountain Off road Adventure Area in Harlan County, Kentucky for a scout trip. I think that this will be better place to have the Beat the Heat run in the summer as it will allow members from Kentucky and Virginia be able to attend that ride also. I want to go in Jan. There is two trail heads each with a camping area and rv hook up area. One has cabins. The one I would like to stay at in Jan has the cabins since there will also be snow on the ground. The more that goes the cheaper we can make it.
I would like to go the 19th and 20th.
Get there on the 19th and checked in by 1 in the afternoon. Do a nice easy ride around the park do an easy trail or two. On the 20th we can wake up have breakfast and start to ride in between 8:30 and 9:30 and ride a good part of the day.
If the 18/19th is better let me know that is an easy change.
For instance if we stayed in this cabin with 6 people http://www.harlancountycampground.co...s-Cabins-6.php
it will be around 35 a person after taxes.
I will bring a lot of chicken salad for lunch the day of the ride and will also provide dinner for everyone staying in the cabin. Probably chilli and cornbread.

So far I have two for sures. I am looking at no more than 10 people. But anyone that is interested in going let me know. I will start to finalize payment and what cabin we will be getting around the 15th or 20th of dec.
