sexy6chick,

Thanks for the suggestion.

07Frontier,

Sometimes, I hear a metallic ticking sound on the driver's side near the engine bay behind the cat while the Fronty is idling. Also, I hear what sounds like valve tap from the engine bay while I'm accelerating around 3k RPM. I've searched this forum and read posts about both "issues" but want to have a good independent mechanic familiar with the Frontier take a closer look for me. I bought the Fronty last month and may also have the mechanic do some maintenance items.

Thanks,
Andy

Well, I cannot recommend a good Nissan mechanic since mine is less than a year old and I haven't had any issues with it (knock on wood). Houdini takes his first gen to Southern States Nissan on Wake Forest Rd and has recommended them to me in the past. Yeah, it is a stealership but it might be your best bet in this situation. If you do need tranny work, I got the hookup for you (but let's hope you don't need that info for a long time)
