Very cool!
I’m loving the flat top tube bumper.
Let us know how it goes.

Got a follow up message from Jeff at BadLandBumpers.

"The bumper will be $725. 00 bare metal and I would need your truck for a couple of days and the winch. The tobe bumper is the one I would build for your truck, that would be the 1st picture. Sliderz are 300. 00 plus installation, bare metal. The sliderz are strictly weld on."

It differs a little bit from what's on his site. Like the sliders only being weld-on. But the price still seems pretty good.

This is the bumper he recomended for me. I think it's because I'm planning on using the Warn Dual Force Winch:

And these are the sliders:

I've still got a little while before I'll be able to afford any of this.

Are they willing to produce products for Frontier or only custom work?

Update: Finally made an appointment to get sliders put on. Will be dropping off on 7/2 evening and picking up next afternoon. I talked with ECT about it, but they wanted to order in someone else's sliders, or charge me $600-$700 for fabrication. I'm having him put on bare metal, and I'll spray it down with black bedliner when done. Saves me the extra $90 for powder coating.

Hey Rabbi, post up those pics when you get the sliders ASAP. I have a feeling I'm gonna do the same thing this summer/fall. How much did you end up paying?

Are you going with this style?

I'd say it was similar to the yellow ones, since Jeff said they would be using these same method as the exted cab tacomas. I was quotes $300 for weld-on type, plus $75 for install.

Oh yeah. I'll tell you they are on and they look awesome - just still unpainted. The tubes go all the way from behind the front wheels to the just in front of the back wheets and stick out about as far as the fender flares. 2" pipe close to the frame and 1 1/2 or so further out. Four supports braces linking the two and welded at four points to the frame. I haven't had a spare moment to strip off the oil coating and spray on the bedliner yet. Jeff at BB did a great job. I'll post up some pics - even if they are still unpainted this evening.

And, as of last night, I am now a member of the King County 4x4 Search and Rescue unit!
