OC Nissan in Irvine - Piss Poor service

Well the fight is officially on with OC Nissan in Irvine California. took my 06 Frontier in for a vibration in the driveline. I've complained about this all over the board and there is definitely something not right with the truck. There first solution was to change the Diff out. when I brought it back 2 days later because that didn't fix it, they told me that the problem doesn't and didn't exist. when I questioned them about why the whole rear end needed to be changed they gave me some crap about how the tech heard noises when he drove it so he changed it. when I asked to have that in writing the general manager of the dealership tells me that I need to take it up with Nissan corporate because they are the one that authorized the repair.

Someone on this board had gave this dealership great reviews which is the only reason that I took my truck there. I was as polite as I could be when talking to anyone from the dealer because I didn't want attitude to be a factor in this. But i have received piss poor service from this dealer. Now they've never been rude or anything but politely rejected any problems I have voiced when bring my truck in for service.

Well now it's time to fill out the Nissan service questionnaire about the dealership.

I hate giving negative reviews of anything. But this sucks that I have a 20,000 dollar truck that's doesn't drive or feel right and I have to worry about the driveline or transmission going out and it's still under factory warranty

The other thing that struck me as odd is when the service manager drove me in the back of the dealership I noticed about 8 other differentials laying on the ground which weren't there a week prior when the tech drove me back there. I made comment about how they get a lot of Diff going bad. I was told that those had been there for months they just didn't have time to send the back to Nissan.

I feel your pain

Ironic I was down in Irvine the other day and I saw the dealer from the freeway and wondered if they were as bad as the Lithia dealer here in Fresno is. It really sucks when you cant get straght answers. I would try another dealer, I got fed up with Lithia went to the other dealer across town and they were a million times better. Good luck with that.
