Dude, I have been waiting for a piece for my tailgate for months. They have ordered the wrong part 4 times now. Each time it takes about 3 weeks for them to get the same wrong part they ordered previously.

But, from now on they will always be paying for my rental.

Just a couple observations
being young and not speaking english have nothing to do with being a trained technician

Ok, so, I am going to scream.

Last Friday my part would be here Monday and I would get my truck back on Monday.

Monday turned into Tuesday. Tuesday into today. Now they're telling me tomorrow. The service manager AND the service rep I was working with have both mysteriously disappeared.

I don't know what to do... I don't know if I even have any recourse of action... I can't borrow the car I'm borrowing anymore and I NEED a truck for tomorrow. Anyone have any ideas? I'm going to go down to the dealer and not leave til I talk to the Service Manager in a little bit here but I was wondering if anyone had any similar situations for which they could share what they did...

I would suggest the same thing here, that I suggested to a good friend when he was getting REALLY shitty service from Mossy Ford. Contact the corporate offices and complain until you get what you want.
He had a transmission go out on his Mustang after 10k miles. It took them 6 weeks to replace the transmission because they also ordered the wrong one 2 or 3 times.
By the time the corporate offices were done, he had a check for $1500 to cover rental expenses and an extension to 100k on his warranty. It only took three phone calls and he now claims to be treated like the Crowned Prince Of Pacific Beach when he pulls into the parking lot.

Thanks for the reply

I did get about $150 off my repair just from making a stink in front of all the people looking to buy shiny new nissans in the showroom; but I'm still planning to call corporate about the way they kept passing the buck and changing their story. I'm ok now because I got my truck back, fixed, which is all I really wanted, but I will call corporate anyway because their customer service SUCKED until I was physically there and could blow a sale...
