Herb Gordon Nissan, Silver Spring, MD

got a great deal from them on an 07 crew cab SE short bed RWD ($21205 out the door with the tow pkg and value truck pkg). dealt with them purely online (john morrisson, the internet sales mgr) and got the best deal of all of my offers up front (about $700 less). we basically started from $600 below invoice and their "docs fee" was only $99 (as opposed to the $299 most of the rest were trying to swindle out of me).

only hassle was they got the truck from a different dealer and accidentally got the wrong one (long bed, not short bed) and i had to wait a couple hours before the right one got there. but no hassle from financing, no pressure to buy add-ons (they offered, but didn't hassle me when i said no), and it was overall a very easy purchase. by far easier and more hassle free than any other car i've bought before.

i'd definitely recommend them if you're anywhere near DC/baltimore.

Me too. Did the research online. I even had the same sales rep. John was a nice guy. I bought mine in Nov. 05. I think the deal was about the same, even the same truck.

Same Deal

I also bought from Herb Gordon and dealt with John Morrison.
Out the door for just over $23 for an 08 CC Nismo with carpets, sliding bed extender, sliding bed divider, step tubes and a tow package.

Hands down the least painful car buying I've ever done. Got that price from the start, no hassles, no pressure. Had to drive an hour up there and wouldn't have done it had there been any hint of anything funny.

These guys just want to sell cars/trucks. I'd go back.

I almost bought from John Morrison as well. He was a decent guy to deal with so I placed a special order with him since there were no KC Nismo 6-speeds anywhere in the Mid-Atlantic. For some reason they couldn't get their $hite together to place the order correctly and still no truck four months later so I went elsewhere.

The only negative thing I have to say about the experience is that it was like pulling teeth to get my deposit back since they couldn't fill my order. After three months of getting bs stories why they couldn't give me my refund (e.g. their accounting dept closes at 10:30am on Fridays...wtf!?) I filed a complaint with Nissan NA, and had my check in a couple days. I attribute that hassle to normal shady dealership behavior, not to Mr. Morrisson.
