Beat This...

I got my 2006 Black 4.0 V6 4x4 SE King Cab Nissan Frontier for $13,600.....cha ching....you guys ain't got nothin' on that...cheapest price in town or anywhere else...perfectly rebuilt vehicle (the stupid insurance company totaled it because a guy wrecked it and it had a broke grille and a dented hood) my dealer buys wrecked cars at auctions, rebuilds them, and sells them as salvaged vehicles...you can't even tell his cars have been wrecked at all...the only down side is that it goes on your title...can't tell the difference at all....Gene's Auto Sales in Elba AL will hook you up...if he ain't got it, he can rebuild it

These smileys are getting mean.....haha

Dude, salvage title.
Thinking AL.
Thinking proximity to LA.
Thinking Katrina victim.

Congrats on the purchase, hope the dealer was up front with you on repairs and condition...I'd pull up the interior and check for mud under the floorboard carpet to be safe.
Now get that thing modded!

Yeah...he wouldn't do us wrong...we've known the guy for years and have been buying cars from him ever since we've known him...he's one of the rare types of guys that if somethings wrong with it you can bring it back and he'll fix it for you...he's good at his job, I'll tell you that. Me and my family haven't had any trouble out of him or his cars..not one...it's kind of weird that an insurance company will total a vehicle when there isn't anything wrong but a dented hood and busted grille and the airbags never deployed....but nobody tell Prerunner that his is a 4x2 and a year older, he might get upset...haha..just kiddin with ya...I can't bring myself to buy a truck that isn't 4x4...I mean after all, it is a truck!! Maybe when I get done with it I can compete with some of you crazy cool trucks on here...

Mmmm beefy....don't ask haha

its ok if your not ever going to sell or trade,,salvage title greatly reduces value,,but as long as your happy thats what matters,,btw ins co. would not total truck for that damage,,check frame for repair

I beat that by a good amount...

2005 King Cab V6 6 Speed SE 2WD
Westin Bull Bar, 2" Suspension Lift already installed
Power Package, Brand New Tires, etc...
42,000 Miles

CLEAN TITLE!!!

Price Paid - $9900 cash

A salvage title will not hurt you at all as long as you own the vehicle, the problem will arise if (or when) you try to sell it. You will get very little on it if you trade, and only a select few people will buy a car with a salvage title.

The truck I bought had some wreck history, a driver sideswiped it on the passenger's side as it was parked out on the street. Insurance fixed the truck and the original owner traded it in. I then paid cash for it from a wholesale dealer a couple of days after it was traded in.

I figured that something might have shown on the title, but NOPE... The title came back perfectly clean.

Some of us have no need for a 4WD... I have a 1997 4WD Pathfinder and maybe used 4WD twice over a 4 year period.

And the other great thing about the 2WD... we are faster on the pavement.

I have....I've looked it up and down, trust me...it doesn't even ride the least bit funny...I don't get it either..sometimes like enerprise rent a car will have one damaged and they'll sell it and then make the insurance pay the difference, but most he gets are individuals that wrecked them and he gets them at salvage auctions dirt cheap...I think thats one of the things he looks for is to see if the frame is ok...he's gotten so big that he has his own salvage yard..haha..it only had 8,000 miles on it when I bought it...it's not one of those hicktown (even though it is a hicktown) salvage jobs...he's a professional and he doesn't screw people like most of em that do this...I've been impressed with his work...in all we've owned 10 or 12 that he's rebuilt and they're all still running perfect...like you said...it just reduced the value...great truck though and yes, I couldn't be happy with the little bugger

Touchey Glendog!! haha..yeah..let's save the racing for when I get supercharged...lol...I was just mostly messing with Prerunner, but I havent really used mine that much either...I'm just the type of guy that likes to have it in case I need it...like one of my friends the other day ran off in a mud whole on a Focus in their driveway and got stuck...lol..guess who they called to pull them out..I don't have any problem with a salvaged title though...all it means is that I save money cuz the guy I get mine from doesn't do me wrong...you got a great deal though..and nice mods

It really depends on the insurance company on the salvage situation too.
I've seen vehicles with easily fixed damage end up with a salvage title, and then vehicles really messed up end up with a clean title.

I wouldn't have a problem buying salvage myself either, when I bought my truck I expected a reconditioned title at least... But I think I got really lucky on that one.

Yeah...somehow my dad got one that was rebuilt from a dealer here, he was upfront with him about it and told him that it was rebuilt, but the dealer bought it in FL and brought it to AL and for some reason it cancelled out the salvaged title and made it where they could put a clean one on it....weird laws
