Yep, if you look at the pic posted above, you'll see it's set up to monitor speed, rpm, volts, etc. I have mine set to monitor speed, rpms, mpg, and intake temp. The background color also can be changed, I have mine set to match the OEM background color of the radio display!

It has like 9 solid different background LEDs to choose from, but they can be "blended" and you have 127 different color options for backlighting.

Here's the e-mail I got concerning the interface:

Paul,

We are starting to sound like Microsoft, but the release has been delayed.

One of the reasons is we added the ability to reprogram both the ScanGaugeII and the Interface itself via an internet download. This had a very large impact on the ScanGaugeII program and has been more difficult than originally envisioned.

Back in June of this year I recieved this e-mail:

Paul,

The interface is a unit with memory and processing power itself. It has a cable that plugs into the unused connector on the ScanGaugeII and another that plugs into a USB port on a computer. They don't have to both be plugged in at the same time.

The interface will use SD Cards for data storage. You can plug it inot the ScanGauge for logging and for other upload/download tasks. It can be removed from the vehicle and taken to a computer for data transfers.

The ScanGaugeII has all the hardware needed for the interface, but will need an upgrade of its program to use it. The Upgrade is free when you purchase the interface.

Price has not been finalized yet. It is expected to be under $100. This will also include the software for a windows based computer.

We are currently planning to begin shipping it in late August.

Thanks guys. I'm trying to get 20 people, so that should get us a good decent price. There's huge interest at Club Titan, so we'll have a lot from over there, but the more from here the better! Keep 'em coming guys.
