JBA Evol Exhaust Group Buy!!!

I think once an actual install has been done and a review/dyno other than that of the manufacturer, in addition to positive results people have been looking for with other exhausts out in the market right now (i.e. cabin drone, low-end power) would make everyone looking for an exhaust jump on board real quick, if it meets all those expectations.

Any updates on when you will have one installed on a shop truck?

I WAS ON JBA WEBSITE AND NOTICED THEY DO NOT LIST ANY EXHAUST FOR THE FRONTIER? I AM INTERESTED BUT I AM WONDERING WHY THEY DO NOT LIST IT ON THERE WEBSITE. I HAVE A 2002 CREW CAB SUPERCHARGED IS THAT INCLUDED IN THE BUY?

The Group Buy is for their new system for the 05/06 Frontier. I honestly don't know if they even make a system for the previous generation Frontier. But, if there's nothing listed on their website, I would think that don't being as that model has been out for a few years.

I just posted a reply to your post under the Mods/MPG Post concerning the Gibson and reviews on Autoanything.com. You can also plug in your Year, Make, and Model on their web site and it will list every system they sell for your specific truck. They also price match and give a 1 year price match guaranty! I just e-mailoed them because I found the Tonneau I bought from them back in November listed on another site for $10.00 less! Hey, $10.00 is $10.00!

I know David from Permier Truck Accessories is going to do a write-up once they have this system installed on their truck, and another member's truck (I think he's on this forum as well, Screen name Pablo) was actually the test bed for this new system, so hopefully he'll share his views and comments as well. I would think the two of them would be getting two of the first production items so they can have them installed right away.

As Johnny Random stated, the rest of us have to wait till we get another 5 people to commit to the Group Buy, then we'll see ours!

I sent David an email yesterday on the system and he said JBA will be shipping at the end of the month. So we still have a few weeks to go.

I just got this e-mail from Alex Conger at JBA:

Paul,
Here is the most recent information I have available on the new Frontier exhaust. Just received if from the JBA product manager. Thank you for checking with us.

The size of the pipe is 2" & 2-1/2", includes the Y. We were not happy with the drone of the muffler on the production parts. We have some sample mufflers on order, due in this week. Should be shipping in April. No Dyno results, as the muffler is not determined yet.

At least I was able to confirm the size of the pipes! Besides, the longer I wait, the more I'll have saved. This could mean the difference between Aluminized and Stainless Steel!

3-8-06 Update

We are up to 6 confirmed for the GB.

According to JBA, the system should start shipping by the end of the month.

I think its great that they are making sure the system does not drone. I don't want something that is going to give me a headache crusing down the highway.
