Screw Frontier & Titan axles.......Ford 9 inch baby

That's right I'm putting in a ford 9" just like Greg did to his Titan!!!! I called mcneil racing today and gave them the ok to put the 9 inch in with 4.10 gears and a spool with 35 spline racing axles made for the frontier bolt pattern. The 9 inch will be fully trussed.

They figure out the warning light thing yet. I talked to Greg he said he loves his. The Titan tubes on the Dana 60 sounds pretty sweet too, plus no lights.
Either way having a real locker option instead of trutrac will be sweet. Next up sand shots, twin roostertails.
Good on ya

I talked to Bob at Titan Offroad and he said that there are these "tone rings" on the axles that have something to do with the speed sensing if I could have the shop take those off the stock axle and adapt them to the 9 inch axles. So no CEL or speedo problems. And as far as the brakes I'm adapting the stock frontier discs to the rear.

Correct, the tone rings are what you need to adapt. I have no idea how ABS will work with a spool though... What are you doing for bolt patterns?

Everything is going to be brand new except the 9 inch housing.
