Rancho Quick Lift

Has anyone used the Rancho quick lifts shocks linked below as an option to provide a lift rather than a lift kit? What are your thoughts on these? I wonder how good of a job the shocks would do at holding air pressure. I used to have an F-150 with air helper springs and the air would always leak out after a few days. It says you can go to a bigger tire with these Ranchos, but if the air were to leak out, the tires would rub, so I'm not sure if it's a good idea. Used the search button, but found nothing on these.

Thanks!

Hmmm. After reading this again, it says the ride height gain is 2" and not adjustable. Looks like the pressure is adjustable. Maybe they may be OK for me. I don't do much wheeling, I just want my truck to look better and to be able to fit 32s or 33s.

i think just one person said they had those, but that was a while back.

since you have the nismo, a cost effective lift would be bilstein 5100 adjustable height shocks. I had these for a couple of weeks before upgrading to saws. take a look here Trying out some new stuff from Greg

So if I buy 4 of the Bilstein 5100s, I can install them without any additional modifications? That sounds to good to be true! Where you happy with your 5100s? I don't do any off-roading - the most I do is drive down a gravel or dirt road to get to a lake or camping. So they may work well for me. Do you know what size tire I could accommodate by installing the 5100s?

Thanks!

These are the titan adjustable height bilsteins. You will need to swap your nismo coils and spring perches onto the titan bilstein. Greg did mine with his lathe and only took 5 minutes.

You might to check out the ones for the frontier if they are available.

I really liked them, but when I got some additional cash, I went with the saws.
