I agree completely. I had about 300lbs in the bed and another 300lbs on the receiver and I dropped 1" lol.

Looks good man, I'm set on getting the OME complete setup, but i was probably going to go with the standard/medium duty springs since I don't know if I'll ever get a shrockworks front bumper, and I would like to keep the truck as comfortable as possible. My main reason for lifting the truck is just to fit 255/85R16 KM2's, and I know i could just go with spacers and shackles or something cheap / quick, but it eats me up inside to make modifications that don't actually increase performance.

Would love to know how some bigger 285/75R16's or 255/85R16's fit under your truck now.

Looks awesome. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on this setup as I'm looking for something quality, and mellow. Chris at nisstec is suggesting the med duty coils, but after reading this I'm leaning toward the HD's.

Did you get an alignment done yet? If so any chance you could post a pic of your printout?

4Wheel parts did an alignment after they did the install but they didn't give me a print out for it. My truck already had a camber kit from when I did the 2.5" spacer lift so not sure if buying the OME set up would require you to need a camber kit for the alignment or not.

If you do get it installed I recommend double checking everything after you get it back from the shop. I did my stainless steel brake lines a few days later and found one of the rear U bolts was not seated correctly and they had put a small cut in one of my CV boots and it was throwing grease onto the rim. Fortunately it was a small enough cut and in an area I was able to patch it with a bit of super glue and a rubber patch and some goop for insurance.

Other than that the stiff ride hasn't killed me yet and no weird noises.

Cool man. Thanks. I'm hoping to be able to handle the install myself if it isn't to difficult (will get the coils assembled by nisstec). I'd be pretty upset with the install issues, and especially the CV boot cut.

My install went fairly smooth, except when I installed the rear axle shims fat end forward. After I installed the slim end forward, everything smoothed out nicely.

After my alignment, my camber was in spec, but my caster was a bit out of spec due to the nose down stance without a load in the bed. My handling is still good though.

Last week I installed my OME front strut/coil and add a leaf in the back and it went pretty damn smooth. I also paid the extra cash to have my coils/struts sent to me pre-assembeled. We used 6" clamps to hold the rear leafs together. I wouldn't think of using any thing smaller. The only thing I see is that their is not to much play in the rear brake lines and I'm afraid that if I was to go wheeling that the rear brake lines might snap. Has any one had this problem with a add a leaf kit? She rides sooo much better now and turns sharper to.

You can get more slack out of the brake lines (ABS lines too) by unclipping them from their brackets and creatively placing some zip ties.
