It seems to me that if you are purchasing through Justin, or West Covina that they would ultimately be responsible for the transaction. This should ease a lot of peoples minds when it comes to purchasing an SLR product. His sh!t's expensive, but I am pretty sure you get what you pay for.

And just like Mustard said, the people that have been in contact with him have been slowly getting things straightened out.

Where did you see/hear this? That is definitely NOT the case, if anything the added weight could cause more stress on the coilbuckets on impact. I am sure that it's not enough to notice at all really; but it definitely doesn't do sh!t for coilbuckets. There is a possibility that the shock angle allowing for a slightly larger coilover would help somewhat to save the coilbuckets; I know mustard's coilbuckets have held up fairly well given the abuse his truck see's...the bumps probably have something to do with that also
easy. the stock UCA's have a lip that kicks out on the bottom, this is what contacts the coil bucket. People have taken a grinder to this to eliminate contact (however, this does weaken the UCA). By boxing the UCA, you dont need that lip for strength because you're boxed so now the part that contacts doesnt need to be there...(at least that's the way I see it).

I know a couple peopel that looked in to doing his stage 5 kit vs TCs long travel on the fist gen, and relized it was cheaper to get SLRs becouse there are a lot of little things that TC dosen't put in there kit that you need
There is one major problem with that though.
The one Xterra owner I know that has the SLR stage V lift installed in his X is STILL dealing with issues because SLR never finished designing/testing it.
The custom axles were too short so they pulled out causing major issues,
the coilover springs specified were way too soft causing the front end to sag or not providing enough lift.

So this Xterra owner spent a lot of money on SLR to build up his truck, and he still has to replace parts with custom stuff because it wasn't designed properly in the first place.

Comparing costs is tough since SLR never really advertised on his site the stage V costs unlike what TC does.
And TC's kits have been performing flawlessly on Xterras and Frontiers.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have either kit, but was doing research for a while talking with owners of each system to find out the pros and cons.

I wish SLR luck in regaining the trust of customers. I know that majority of the Xterra messageboards I frequent will NEVER give him another cent.

I guess there is a whole new crowd of owners to screw.

Call CST and see if they will sell you the Titan one. It is a one piece design that will bolt up to your truck.
