I need to get me some of that Duragloss. A couple buddies of mine use it and freakin RAVE about it. Of course, my wife thinks I'm nuts because I'm always buying new waxes and sealants just to try them out.

From Autopia Car Care:

Klasse All-In-One car polish & wax receives rave reviews from enthusiasts. Here's why:
 •
As a paint cleaner it removes stubborn contamination with ease.

 •
As a car polish it creates a high-gloss luster that few products match.

 •
As a car wax, it protects for months.

Klasse All-In-One Car Wax is an easy-to-use paint cleaner, polish and synthetic car wax (sealant) in one.
A single application of Klasse All-In-One lasts for months, not weeks!
Klasse All-In-One is not a traditional wax or polymer sealant. The exclusive German Klasse formula is a tough acrylic car wax formula that has stood the test of time. Many miracle products have come and gone, but Klasse car wax products are still going strong.
Klasse All-In-One quickly polishes away oxidation and light paint contamination leaving a deep, rich shine that lasts for months. All-In-One is like clear armor for your car. It bonds to the surface like a normal carnauba car wax, however, it does not change the paint in any way. Klasse layers on top of the paint, building depth of shine and clarity for an ultra high gloss finish.
All-In-One contains special cleaners and a fine polish that quickly and easily removes old wax, road film, light oxidation and minor swirl marks. It’s a premium one-step product that cleans, polishes and protects with very little effort. Best of all, the finish lasts and lasts. In most cases, two applications a year will keep your car protected and looking good. Plus, Klasse does not contain silicones and it will not stain your car's vinyl and rubber. Application could not be easier!
Imported from Germany.

From Autogeek:

Klasse All-In-One was the first - and is still the best - acrylic paint sealant in the car care industry!

Klasse All-In-One is a revolutionary polish and acrylic sealant in one. Its one of the most prominent car care products on detailing forums and a favorite among do-it-yourself detailers for its quick results and incredibly long-lasting finish.

Perfection is something we all strive for when it comes to car care. Back in the day I used to find myself going over the surface of my car with a magnifying glass, looking for those microscopic scratch marks or paint imperfections. That was until I discovered a German gem called Klasse All-In-One Polish. Talk about perfection in a bottle. Once I started using this product, there was no need to break out the magnifying glass and scour for imperfections. This polish made them vanish from sight!

First introduced in 1979, Klasse All In One Polish changed everything about the way people polished cars. Klasse All In One Polish will remove oxidation, minor swirls, old wax, and other surface blemishes; leaving a beautiful and deep acrylic shine. Unlike some formulas, Klasse will not penetrate or change paint. Here are the reasons why this polish is in a “klass” of its own:

Acrylic is the Solution. Unlike most car waxes or sealants, Klasse All In One is acrylic-based. Acrylic is different than wax, silicones, and polymers. The Klasse All in one polish will bond to your car’s surface just like the previously mentioned treatments, but it will not cause any change to your paint, and you don’t have to worry about drying time. Klasse All In One dries as fast as you apply it, and there is no risk of hazing or streaking. Klasse All-In-One contains no abrasives or silicones, and does not stain plastic, vinyl or rubber trim. It can be used on any non-porous surface, and in addition to car care it is also approved for marine and aviation use.

Same Formula since 1979. As we have seen over the years, changing the formula of a successful product can cause havoc. Klasse All in one has never changed the formula, not even one of the fourteen ingredients, since the inception of this product over twenty five years ago. When you use the Klasse All In One, you will understand how it satisfies the needs of car enthusiasts world wide.

Change the Surface, Keep the Paint. After the easy application, you will instantly see a brighter tone to your cars surface. You will see that shine for six months or longer, as you only need to use this polish, on average, twice a year. The clarity and depth is of the same quality as carnauba wax, but has longer lasting results. The uniform gloss is prismatic and stunning, and will put your car in a “class” of its own.

So if Klasse lasts a year, why would two of the biggest distributors say you are going to need, on average, two applications per year??

you can get a year out of it , based on how you take care of the vehicle ! Also know that companies suggest more applications, because they want you to use more product, and guess what if your using more , Your Buying more ! think about it ...

I have some Klasse All In One. It is a quality product. I can't say how long it lasts but I would think it depends on the environment your vehicle lives in. Can we please stop nickpicking within this thread?

Cool guys. Thanks for the input. Unfortunately it's been raining almost non-stop here for two days, so no detailing the truck this weekend. Plus I spent yesterday morning putting in my PDX-5 and adding more mat to the sub enclosure I'm building. I'm ready for sunshine now though. Keep the recommendations coming!

Don't let the rain stop you ... I've machine buffed many a car in the rain, the only thing that is crappy is that the water helps to sling wax everywhere, and it's a drag to have to detail brush all the cracks, seams and window rubber afterwards. If you use a good sealer polish, the rain won't hurt it or affect the outcome, in fact it allows it to blend better...This past winter I machine buffed a black S500 benz in an all out down pour... lol it was a trip , but came out great ! the client gave me a $100 tip.

Toddg,
I start by using liquid dish detergent to wash with. Then I use Mothers liquid wax for the base coat. Then I go back over it again with Malco's Flash wax. It has the consistency of water but really brings out a shine.

You are hard core! But then detailing is your business. I detail for a hobby, so no detailing "in an all out down pours" for this guy!!

I wanna see the fiberglass sub enclosure when you're done. Thinking about ditching my MDF box and trying to squeeze a little more airspace. My current setup BARELY has enough airspace for my DC10.

I found that polymer products are the way to go. There are a lot of good products on the market. My current product of choice is Meguiar's Synthetic Sealant 21 2.0. After my truck is washed, I prefer to polish my truck in low humidity and cool temperatures for best results. I'm usually polishing my truck in the late evening finishing up around 1:00 in the morning. Polymer products will make your paint glow.

Meguiar's® NEW M2116 Professional Synthetic Sealant

Synthetic polymer formulation provides technologically advanced paint care and protection.
 • Produces a noticeable deeper, darker, more reflective paint finish
 • Synthetic polymers deliver extreme protection
 • Elminates fine scratches and swirls, creating a flawless finish
 • Glides on easy, with a smooth, resistance-free wipe-off
The Megs synthetic is a nice product, but the "products that require excessive rubbing" causing swirls is a bit of a farce. The old school Meguiars #16 which is discontinued in the US, was a straight up biatch to remove, but is also one of the more durable/reflective pure carnauba waxes ever formulated. As you said, a lot of swirls are the result of the person doing the job, but more often then not it is because of poor technique, not the fault of the product used.

Please, oh please don't use dish detergent on your truck. Over time it can dry out all the plastic/rubber, causing it to dull, and it can also dull your paint over time. Car wash soap is so cheap, why skimp there??
