Water Spots

I have horrible water spots on my windshield. I mean God awful, can barely see at night sometimes, water spots. I've tried waxing it, I've tried Windex/newspaper, everything I've heard of. Does anyone know how to get rid of them?

Thanks in advance.

I found that white vinegar, and a good microfiber towel will take the water spots and stains off glass, plastic and paint with very little effort. Little effort means you will not put any fine scratches in your glass, plastics or paint finish. It will keep it looking perfect. Then go over the areas with the proper wax, polish or cleaner. The less rubbing the better.

I tried CLR and it didn't work :/

I figured it would do the same as Lime-Away.

the steel wool works excellant but before everyone sees this and uses steel wool on everything clear on their car CAUTION do not use it on plexi glass only on realy glass otherwise it will scratch, also steel wool works excellant on chrome just make sure you get the extra fine wool

I have a truck. It gets me from A to B. Why I spend so much money changing it, I will never know. Is there a cure for this disease? I have no idea what I would be using all my money for if there was a cure.
