swirls

ive been having my truck since march and i try to wash it every weekend but the problem is ive noticed swirls in the clearcoat ive been using the right washing mit and chamois to dry...its a black truck and i know this is common with a black vehicle my ? is what can i use to remove these swirls and what can i do to prevent them in the future...thanks

I've noticed this somewhat with my black Nismo, as well, I believe a polish compound is supposed to reduce the appearance of swirls, but I've yet to use it.

I can see some in my Red and I am meticulous about the paint, Not much to do once you start washing the vehicle.

I take it to a brushless car wash that my friend at the local Porsche dealer recomends to Porsche owners.

I just don't wash mine as much. Every time I wash it, it rains. If I don't wash it, it'll be dry for weeks. Don't sweat the petty stuff,.............and don't pet the sweaty stuff

thanks... i bought some meguiars NXT tech wax and washed it and waxed it with that using a buffer and most of the swirls came out my truck looks better now than the day i bought it i guess i need to stop washing it so much but i hate to see it dirty...but id rather see it dirty than with swirls in the clearcoat

stop using a chamois to dry use MICRO FIBERS dont wash and wax in circles use straight lines
