Someone else's paint

I returned to my truck today to find a line of down the side of my truck..Someone evidently couldn't get into a parking place ..I have what looks like black paint down the side of my bed..Its on top of the paint and I was wondering if anyone had a trick to get it off..I tried meguirs scratch and contaminant polish and it took off a little bit..I also tried 3M gasket solvent and cleaner, no luck..

people swear by those damn "magic eraser" cleaning deals... I know my wife sure does... There is a topic in this forum somewhere with people talking about what things they use on there truck, and i know i saw people say they have used them... I know it does wonders taking stuff off of walls at my home and store.

do a search for magic erasers... i know it was in this forum...

Can you take some pics? Sometimes it may require some ultra fine grit sanding.

Where were you parked? Do they have security cameras?

Well i am a professional detailer for a dealership. Either use a claybar, or take some spotter aka paint thinner for cars and use that lightly if you use too much youll **** your paint up but use a clay bar first and make sure to use some kind of lubrication with it dont use it dry like water or windex or somthing.

I am telling you Clay bar is awesome....I used it on a white vehicle that had black paint from a car door....It did a GREAT job. My claybar came with the spray stuff....It took a little bit, but did the job!

I used the clay bar..I have the blue clay and it removed some of it but not a large spot I have..Doesn't seem to be phasing it..I guess I will try to find some more aggresive clay to try..

You have to keep working with it....It doesn't remove it the first time....Spray then use the claybar......Work with it a little more.
