Removing Scuff Marks?

So last night it was windy and raining like crazy. Woke up this morning to a Window Screen from someones house in my neighborhood laying up against my Truck. There are white scuff marks on my front fender. White on a Dark Blue Truck shows up really good Any products that I can get locally that would work the best. I did some research and seems the Clay Bar or Rubbing Compound are the best things that I read. Any help would be great.

Here are some pics I took with my crappy phone lol.

I would try some clear coat safe polishing compound to try and remove as much as possible. If the scuffs are deep you won't be able to get them out but it should look better than it does now.

I wouldnt use rubbing compound. It cuts into the clear coat horribly. Like chuck said, try some clear coat polish. It s a lot gentler on the paint.

There are different grades of rubbing compound. The one pictured is fine cut and will not harm the clear coat if you don't go overboard with it. I have used it on scratches without any problems.

If none of that works you can refer to this method.

I had a similar situation on one of my cars. I used a Magic Eraser rubbing very gently and it removed the scuff marks completely. However, this is an ebrasive pad so it left fine, fine hairline scratches in the clear coat. I came back with a fine grade polish and a coat of wax and all was well.

I finally had a chance to post. Thanks for all the replies, I tried using clay bar but didnt seem to have much affect(maybe I was using it wrong) but Cleaning Wax seemed to to the trick perfectly. I do have a small chip that went to the metal. Have to get some Touch up paint for that but other than that the marks came right off with some pressure on a microfiber towel. Ill post some pics later on.
