I'm with CBD. NO PROTECTANT! Those microfiber clothes are the best thing since sliced bread. Try using them when you're waxing. Totally awesome.

i have the 1,2, and 3 series and i wasn't that impressed with it. how do you like it? i'll try it on my interior, but i do have to say that my armor all wipes work like a champ. the interior will stay shiney for a while.

Do not use armoral. The stuff in the long run isnt good. Try using 303 aerospace protectant. It leaves almost no oily residue and does a great job of protection.

I second that motion. I started using it recently and I'm hooked.

bringing back a dead post....

Having off for the week, I decided it was time to give the truck a really good cleaning. I tried dusting the interior plastics, but it just made it worse. I picked up some Swiffer Dusters, they're a weird little cloth thingy that is on a handle. They work GREAT. It just picks the dust right up, and it only takes about 2 minutes to do all the plastics in a KC

I use the Armor All cleaning wipes in the purple bottle. It doesn't have a protectant so I don't get the shine, which is fine by me. It works really well on the center arm rest, window sill, stereo, gear shift knob to remove oil build up. I then buff it out with a micro fibre towel. Works great with no shine. I do rely heavily on my tint and windscreen shade to protect the interior from the Texas sun.

I third the 303. I started using it a few years ago on other vehicles and have nothing but good experience with it. It actually protects against UV damage.

Armor-All is awful stuff because it looks good at first but later on dries out the dash. Ever notice how it makes the skin on your fingers feel weird and get really wrinkled? 303 doesn't do that.

I know this sounds crazy, but after I detail the exterior with mother's showtime polish, I wipe down the dash with the same cloth. There is no shiny or sticky residue, and the dust stays off for at least two months.
