Don't use a clay bar ( clay bars are for smoothing paint or overspray removal, etc. , not paint transfer from something else, like your situation ) use laquer thinner with a clean rag , wipe until the foreign paint comes off, resoak rag as needed ,then follow with your favorite polish and wipe off.

not driving on wet paint works pretty good. All the guys that stripe our jobs use paint that dries in like 5 minutes, you have to damn near run them over to get paint transfer.

Yes, but know that thinner may discolor the plastic of your wheel wells, if it does , touch up the plastic in the wheel wells with Satin Black paint. Brush on with a foam brush, to not show brush marks if not taking the wheel off, or take the wheel off if wheel well is discolored and spray satin black paint to repaint the wells.

and the easier way is with laquer thinner, I own my own mobile detailing business, hence the screen name, and have over 15 years and 4400+ vehicles detailed, so believe me when I say that Laquer thiner IS the way ! In fact with sap it'll melt away in seconds with thinner. well and you could buy some clay I suppose you use the $ 15 mothers clay ( not professional clay like the $30 a bar stuff from 3M , that I use) and Laquer thinner is about $3.00 a quart, plus thinner can be used for a myriad of stuff that needs to be removed on vehicles paint, where clays limited.
