microfiber towels

havent seen these mentioned much but i picked up a pack the other day just to do some lite duty cleaning. well i read somewhere(maybe the web) that you could use them to clean your windows with no windex. well i wasnt to sure of that. i dont smoke but i do enjoy a cigar every once and a while so there is a small ammount of smoke and nic build up on my windshield. so i tried it, man was i impressed. the windows werent that clean when i bought it. i just used it dry and wiped. clean windows with no spraying and no streaks. i bet they would do just as good on aftermarket tint as well. that way you dont have to worry about damaging the film. just though i would share.

YES, you can clean the windows. i've been using them for a while now and they work great. i leave one in the truck for the occasional dusting or cleaning the inside haze on the windshield. great suggestion thanks.

Buildup on your windows does not always come from smoke. Anything such as ArmorAll and other detailing cleaners/conditioners will cause buildup on the windows. I'm not sure exactly if it evaporates and accumulates on the windows or what, but I guarantee anyone can go find stuff on their windows who don't smoke.

I HATE window haze. Sometimes, it seems like no matter what you use, all you can do it streak it in different directions!

I swear by microfiber products. My wash mitt, drying towels, wax applicator pads, buffing towels, glass cleaning towels...all are microfiber. Classic Motoring Accessories (www.properautocare.com) really turned me onto this stuff, and they make/sell a lot of awesome products. And I also keep a small microfiber towel in my upper glovebox for general cleaning.
