bounce dryer sheets i think work the best. 1 or 2 sheets under the seats works for about a month.

Dryer sheets do work good, and in the winter are great to rub on your seats to cut down on static electricity. As for air freshener, I like to use the liquid ons that stick in your vent, they seem to last 2-3 months for me.

Mine still smells like new, so I want to avoid any smelly things entering my truck at all costs! I won't even bring take out food in it! I love the new car smell. I see they sell "New Car Scent" air fresheners at the stores, but it smells nothing like a new car. If I had to buy a freshener, I'd try the wafers. I once had one of those tree air fresheners discolor the plastic that it was resting against in one of my older vehicles. Lesson learned - never leave the trees touching any surface - just hanging.

You like the new car smell?? On most cars I would agree, but when I bought my Frontier it was so potent it would give me a headache in 5 minutes. So for the first week I drove with the windows up while smoking a Cuban Cigar. Killed that stench quick! Plush left the windows down all the time while parked. Mine was BAD.

The stronger the new car smell the better for me! It's probably not healthy to breath in when it's strong like that, but I like it so much that I'm willing to take a risk!

I tell you if you could replicate the new car smell exactly you'd be a millionaire ! Companies have tried in the past to put out a spray, etc. that said "new car" ... but it wasn't even close. The new smell is a compilation of all the new components installed in the car, so replicating it is impossible !

I've got a wafer assortment coming from a vendor on Ebay. 2 of them are "new car" smell. Mine still have a touch of the original /real new smell but it will be interesting to see how good this stuff is.
