I have clear bras on both our vehicles. worth every penny. You can scrub the bugs off and you don't get rock chips.

Just a quick comment. I was walking out after work and walked by a black Lexus RX???. I looked to have a clear bra on it, but it looked REALLY bad. I wish I had a camera to take a picture. I don't know if they tried to remove it or if they had tried to wax it or what...but it was all frosted over and all white. It had to be about 18" onto the hood. Boy, that sure makes me wonder. I'm sure it was either some cheap job or something out of the norm, because that is the first really bad one I've seen. Most other seem to look pretty good.

I don't know if it's been discussed before, but would the chrome grill area see any benefit from some sot of clear film? Cleaning bugs is one thing, but I'm worried about the grille getting sandblasted this winter from road salt/sand.

Also, are today's chrome bumpers as durable as bumpers from era's gone by in that it holds up well to "sandblasting"?

Thanks

thats 2 questions.

1- yes, it is removable. my installer said just wait for a hot day and peel it up slowly from one side staying even. paint should be the same as it was the day it was installed.

2- too much. focus on the most vulnerable spots (hood, bumper, mirrors, fenders, maybe even part of the rear bumper) and you will be happy with it.
