I found the kits for the head lights and fog lights for $34 and the roof and A-pillar filns for $35 on invisablemask.com.

I've done the light kits before but not the body. Lights were okay as long as I used a lot of solution and a heat gun.

Not that I can remember. I finally bought the film from Invisiblemask.com and installed the A pillar and roof pieces. Here is my thread on it.

I've detailed many cars that have a clear bra on them , whether it's the 3mm or 5mm thickness. It makes the car in my opinion a " 5 ft. " car. Because it looks good standing 5 ft away. You look very closely, and you'll see bubbles, fingerprints, etc.

Whether you do it yourself or have it done , they won't be perfect. I have one client with a $450,000 Porsche Carrera GT that "Clear guarded " his whole car for $3,000. Yeah it protects the paint, but again it's a "5 ft" car and it doesn't last forever , like 5 years tops.

working in a body shop, i have put about 8 of these "clear bras" on.. They look pretty good if you get them professionally installed. I do NOT recommend doing this 1. by yourself and 2. if you have no experience putting on decals and/or clear bras. sometimes (most times) the clear bra needs to be slightly stretched to fit the lines and holes of the vehicle properly.. not cool (and Not easy) and hence the need for two people..

We did a few here at the shop but they are so difficult to get perfect we now sublet the work to a decal shop who puts them on everyday. They can get them almost perfect if not perfect.

My advice: get it if your truck hood/bumper is brand new or has just been painted (after it cures though.. lol). But do NOT get it if you already have bug issues and rock chips as the clear bra does not look good at all covering that stuff.

Just make sure you have a professional do the install. You have to have a Very clean environment/hands (or gloves)/ at least two people, experience, etc. Not a job for an amateur..

I had to install my own. I could not find anybody to do it without having to pay them a pound of gold. The man at the dealership that sells accessories and services wanted $700 to do the 3M paint and headlight protection. I bought my own film and did it myself for about $450. I have twice as much coverage as what they would have installed. it wasn't easy but I had done lots of decal applications on my job. No regrets so far.

I have seen some pretty crappy clear bras, but I have seen many more that held up fairly well. I saw one that was less than a year old that was very cloudy.
