Nice write up. I would have probably spent like 2 pages on steps, but I'm a little obsessed when I do a full detail.

Agreed, I don't think even I would be able to read one of my write ups. It would be way to detailed. I use a Porter Cable orbital buffer and if I gotta use any polishing compunds I even break out my Dewalt rotary buffer. Nice job Drew!!!

I have a question on using an orbital. Do you apply the product by hand, then use the orbital to buff it out?

Most products I've seen get applied directly to the pad on the orbital and then blended into the surface.

Very nice write up...Very "detailed".....no pun intended..hee hee.

I did have a question. What about polishing??? Do you guys ever polish your truck?? Maybe like once a year or so, prior to waxing??? I used to do it on a 97 Black Jeep Grand Cherokee I had, and it looked amazing...However, I didn't know if it was good to do it too many times. Are there drawbacks to polishing your vehicles??

Thoughts??
