Datsun ( Nissan ) fairlady I detailed this past week

Used 3M compound , glaze and 3M show car wax. The white walls were stained, bad, so I had to use "Oil Eater" and thinner to get them white again. The car came out prtty good for being original paint.

Very sweet, I think you need your own sticky where you can post pics of all of the cool cars you detail and we can just sit back and be jealous.

Another great job CCT. I am looking for a good exterior rubber and plastic protectant. I've tried a couple differant products, but I am not satisfied. The ones I have tried seem to bleed onto the paint after a rain storm. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks.........

well ofcourse you can certainly use a tire dressing, but it only lasts for several weeks if using Mcquires Hot Shine. I personally prefer to use a combination of "Rubber lube" ... ( Hard to find ) and or a creme leather conditioner, let dry then followed with a spray leather conditioner to blend it out. the rubber lube or leather stuff lasts a fair amount of time, and doesn't seem to run on the paint nor sling like tire dressing does. as far as plastic protectorant , I assume your speaking about interior plastci and the like, again leather spray works well , if it's exterior plastic, then a spray wax detailer from a spray bottle will work. Hope that helps !
