Cleaning the interior???

Ok, I've had the frontier for a year now (her B-day was Aug. 4th). Over time I have developed a few stains on the seats. I've thought about renting a steam cleaner to get some of these out, but I am worried about leaving water stains on the seats after they dry. Can anyone recommend a method for best cleaning the seats on an SE,C/C? I want to scotchguard the seats after theyare cleaned as well.

To be honest, the seat fabric in these trucks is the strangest I've ever seen....that webbing on top of the butt cushion has me worried as far as any kind of scrubbing, etc. I would recommend grabbing a wash bucket, fill to about 1/2 with hot water, and add a few ounces of Resolve, and a few ounces of Simple Green, and a sponge. If you have a Shop Vac, you can do this at home, but it not, you'll need to visit your local coin-op car wash. Use the sponge to gently work in the soapy water, and quickly suck it out with the vacuum. I really can't recommend scrubbing that webbing very hard, as I think it might become mis-shapen easily. Keep doint the above until the stains come up. This is how I remove pet, houesplant, etc stains from the Freize carpet in my house.

That works,...or get a "little green" machine from Walmart. The machine is designed to do exactly what is described above. You put the cleaning solution in the one side container and the other side is the collection/disposal side. Works great for ALL spills, animal mishaps etc. I have had one for over 5 years. They are made by Bissell. http://www.totalvac.com/parts/bisselllittle.html

I was having the same problem with ugly little stains popping up everywhere... Plus the fabric in these trucks retain smells more than any other fabric seats I have ever had... I know not everyone can do this, but a good friend of mine owns an upholstry shop and put leather covers on my seats for around $700.00... Its not real leather but you cant tell the diff...real nice!

men dont clean! haha. i scotchguarded mine when i got it. and i also threw on some camo seat covers from walmart. one of the better investments. good luck cleaning the stains out of your seats. i used to help my buddy detail cars, and nissans were always the hardest seats to clean.
