Cleaning the Frontier

I thought I knew what I was doing when I washed and waxed my truck.
After washing and waxing with Meguiars carnuba, I stil get a very rough feel to my hood and front fenders.

What do you guys (gals) use to get the paint smooth? (which wont hurt the clear coat)

I think either would be fine.
I just like the close box design on the volant.
I really like the Ingen though.
I might switch one day.
I think the performance is comprable
I am saying I alot.

Hey you side tracked me
What do you wax with?????
Have you heard of Clay Bar, Is it to much effort?

To get the rough spots out use clay bar. It takes a fairly long time to do and is a pain but the results are excellent. I clay bar my S4 once a year and that takes a good hour nonstop to get done and that is a small car. My arms are pretty sore afterwards. I can only imaging how long and painful it would be to do the truck which is why I refuse.

Don't forget to wax it once you are done!

Does a clay bar get rid of small surface scratches?? I've never used it before so I'm not really sure of its purpose other than getting a nice clean surface.

They are Illegal but the cops around here wont give you a ticket unless you dont roll them down when you get pulled over.

When I get pulled over I roll them all down right away, It makes them feel safer.
plus my hands are where they can see them.

Sounds crazy, but there is a 18yr old who got shot by a cop who thought he was pulling a gun on him, the cop was wrong and he was paralyzed. City paid him 4.5million.

I had to pay cash to the tint shop for them to do it,( no receipt.)
I wanted a very light film across my entire windshield but they wouldnt do it.
I had it done on my jetta and it really cut down on the temp inside the car.
