stereo issue after install... crackling speakers

I just installed my Kenwood head unit, 250watt JL amp, and 1 10" Memphis single coil sub in my 2012 SV.
#4 ground and power from battery to amp.
Grounded to bolt that holds down seat rail to cab.

Here is the issue. Before install, I had no sound issue what so ever with the stock door speakers. After install, when I turn the stereo up I get a lot of crackling in all the door speakers. The sub hits, music plays etc, it's just a lot of crackling coming from the speakers. All connections are soldered together, no butt splices.
One person said i may have to much power going to the stock speakers now and over powering them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Sounds like you've blown all your door speakers. Or a horrible connection. Do you have access to the high level output on the head unit? Run a short piece to a speaker and see if it works. Bypass your hidden wiring and eliminate a piece of the problem? If it doesn't work then, try going to your sup amplifier high level in, just to see if its the output on the head unit thats bad, or you blew all four of your speakers.

I don't think it would be a bad connection. I used to solder electrical components for three years, and still work in the electronics field, just in a different area. I know that all the connections were soldered, wetted, and sealed correctly.
This same setup came out of my nissan hard body, and i threw it in this truck. I believe, not certain, that I may just be over powering the speakers. Or, like you said, they may have blown on power up when all plugged back in. I find it hard that all four would blow that easily when i didn't crank the volume up or anyhting when I plugged it all back in.
I don't know for sure, I'm obviously not an audio expert. I just want to get good sound etc, and this is driving me nuts!

Is it possible that the leads are shorted on the speakers? maybe caused by bad speaker wire? You said you reused the components of the stereo, maybe during the removal/ install the speaker wire got damaged inside somewhere along its length causing a short. Just a thought.

I didn't rip out any of the stock speaker wire or speakers.
All i did was replace the head unit, solder the wires, re-connect the factory wiring harness.
Then I added that AMP and Sub. There shouldn't be any shorted wires, or ''cut'' wires in the dash or doors. All the soldered connections were shrink wrapped so they wouldn't short against one another.

I have had a similar problem on three different occasions. The first turned out to be a really loose connection on the RCA plug, a little modification with some pliers fixed that issue. The second was that I was running 2ohms on my amp that could only handle 4ohms, so when I turned it up, it would start cutting out in a crackling fashion. And C ended up being a really frayed speaker wire at the amp side. I did not tin the wires and they were old so there were only a few strands that were actually connected about 1/2" inside the insulation. Those were all with my old Alpine amp in a Toyota.

Hope that helps a little

For what it's worth, the factory speakers are 2 ohm. Though I'm doubtful that's the reason since my aftermarket headunit on factory speakers worked without issue.

Interesting, I did not know they were 2ohm from the factory

My current amp and head-unit can handle 2ohms, but back then I was using an Alpine V12 from the 90's? that couldn't..
