Rear Door adapter??

Well, I started to install my rear door speakers (pioneer 6.5 inch) and they are too fricken small. I guess I'll need to get an adapter. I know the METRA - 827500 is made specifically for our trucks. Does anyone know if I could buy something at Circuit City, or another major chain (Walmart??) I really wanted to get these done.

Most speakers ( I've bought) come with some sort of adapter that can be made to fit pretty easily. If your's didn't, you can try to buy some from a local installer/circuit city or (as the other poster suggested) make your own. $3 worth of 1/4 or 1/2" MDF from Home Depot will give you plenty. From there it's only 20-30 min with pencil and jig saw away.

Well, I was at Walmart and I saw these crappy 10 dollar 6.5 inch dual cone speakers hanging on the rack. I looked a little closer and they came with the adapter I would need!! I bought a pair just for the adapter. I know..I know...I could have made them for cheaper. But 20 bucks isn't bad for two brackets.

you can buy them off ebay...You could also make some yourself. Very easy to do. I did mine and saved a few bucks.

Way to improvise and I'm sure you didn't want to wait for someone to ship a pair from off of ebay!

Rear pannels come off pretty much the same as the front. As memory serves (I've done this 3 times now )
Pry up/off the padded hand hold and remove 2 bolts behind it. Then pry off the metalic trim at the door release handle and remove the bolt there. Then pry the whole panel away from the door (starting at bottom). Lastly, remove window switch connector and lift the panel up and off.

Remove the bolts from the seat belt(Top and Bottom). Pry off the door panel slowly(I used a flat head screw driver). The clips come right off.
