Can anyone confirm that the metra 70-7553 will also work on the 2012 frontier? I only see it listed for the 2007+ xterra, but the frontier has the same radio.

I am also in the need of the correct wire harness for the rockford system.

According to Crutchfield, this one is compatible with the Rockford system:

Receiver Wire Harness For select 1995-up Nissan and Infiniti vehicles at Crutchfield.com

Although, they do add that this harness requires a receiver with both front and rear pre-outs, to keep fade functionality.

can anyone with RF system confirm this? I have not taken the radio out yet so i don't know what the plugs look like.

I just don't understand.. I am on mertra's website there is nothing for frontier 2010 and up ... I find plenty of stuff for xterra.....

Yeah, that's what I ordered from cf. According to their site, it fits the '12 CC w/rockford, so I'm hoping it works ha.

if you ordered that then you are going to be disappointed because that is NOT the correct harness for the 2012. the harness changed mid year in 2008.

Well I guess I'll just see when it arrives. that's the one their website says is compatible with my truck, as well as an online chat rep. So if it doesn't fit, I'm sure I can get the correct one over nighted. They've never steered me wrong before, and are really good at fixing f'ups. So I'm not gonna sweat it for now.

Do you know what the correct plug for the '12 CC w/Rockford is?
