fianally installed new head

100_2122.jpgfinally installed new head. just a starter. also installed Polk II EX series components. have a question about a slight distortion on one component sub. i think its going out or does anyone have some suggestions. the install was fairly easy but the adapter is kindoff different then used to. and to all with 98's you will need an antenna adapter(pain in the a$$ if you didn't know u needed) THANKS TO ALL FOR THE HELP!! let me know your thoughts

Nice job on the install. If one of your woofers is distorted it could be a few things:

1) it's on it's last leg (are the speakers new or used?).
2) you have the polarity reversed somewhere (+ is on the - terminal and vice versa).
3) be sure that your door panel (or anything else) is not interfering with the cone (ie. pressing against it).

To trouble shoot, swap woofers from door to door. That will tell you if it's the woofer or inline somewhere on that side.

Just a few things of the top of my head, good luck bro.
