Trip Computer Test Function
Talked with a SA yesterday, this is all I could get out of him. Maybe someone with a service manual would know more about it.
Hold in the reset button down for 10 seconds with the key off and then turn the key on. "Test" will come up on the TC screen, let go. Push it for each item (about 50) it will test your guages, bulbs, battery and give emission info/codes. Here's pics of the guage and bulb test.

This is great info. I tried playing aroundwith it but nothing happened. I'll try this method. I'm surprised the SA let you in on this "secret."

This will actually give you trouble codes for the MIL? If it does, that'll save some money on a new scanner! Now, where do we get the code definitions from?

it should, also, you can short circuit two of the pins on ur OBDII connector under the steering wheel attatched to a light and it will blink the code numbers if u have a MIL on...
