As not to start a new thread, anyone have any idea what size socket one needs for the 02 sensor? Are upstream and downstream the same size?? Thanks guys.

I should have worded it better. What size o2 sensor socket is it that would be required. Ive seen them before in stores. Theyve got the side cut out to allow the wires to bypass the drive end of the rachet, but I dont know the size. I tried to size it up in the store, but buddy behind the counter wouldnt let me open the bag the sensor was in so it was difficult to judge the size like that.

My truck is throwing this code but most of the time it will come on and in about 2-3 days it will clear itself and the SES light will go off. Will normally stay off for about 3 months

No problem.
When I see this code 99% of the time, the cat is pooped. The reason why it takes so long to set the light is because the ecm needs to see a specific driving cycle before it completes its diagnosis, and will not set until it does.

I have the same code but when i drove 150 miles from Phoenix to Flagstaff, filled up started the engine again it was gone. Came back to Phoenix and a few days later it came back on. Planning on doing the o2's in the next week and im really hoping its just them as they have 138k on them
