Need new battery, help please...

well i don't know what to buy. Surely don't want to spend over a 100 bucks for a battery but that is my highest i would love to go. Already did a search and couldnt find anything. I don't know what would fit and whatever, so specific brands would be perfect. what do i need to look for. my battery is acting up already when i play the radio with the truck not on and it just click click click on me even with jumper cables. But when i started it by kick starting it, when i got home i turned it off and it could start up again. So any recommendation is good, thanks in advance.

hmmm.. for $100 max price, your not looking at anything special. I'd just go with a DieHard Gold. Should be about $90, and has a good warranty. IIRC from my days at Sears it is 3yr full replacement 6yr. pro-rated.

That's what I've been using for the past year. Can't say much about a battery other than it works.

The best deal I found was the Energizer battery at Sam's Club made by Johnson Controls. I purchased a size 35N, which is the optional size for the Nissan Frontier. It has 640 cold crank amps, and 800 warm weather crank amps. It comes with a 3 year free exchange, and a 8 year prorated warranty. I purchased this battery last month for 62 dollars. I found nothing even close to this deal.

They have a battery reference book by the automotive batteries. Double check, but it list our trucks as either 24F or optional 35N. Just clean your battery terminals and battery posts before installation.

This battery is 700 cold crank amps not 850.

i got the same battery as SQNismo. i was hoping to get an optima but i found out that optima, walmart's everstart, energizer, duralast, autocraft and truestart were all manufactured by one company, johnson controls, inc. if i am not mistaken they also make oem batteries for honda, mazda, acura and mitsubishi.so therefore i decided to stick with what was cheaper and had good CCA

just as confused as you are
