Hey fellas,
Thanks for the research!
Heres a thread I started back in April
DIY 2" body lift
I've basically seen most of the old and newer threads from different sites, Ive been gathering info on this subject for way too long. I even found my old post on AC/4x4parts forum and noticed that Peck posted in there also.

http://www.metricspecialties.com/ I came across this place before. I still can't find the listing for the long bolts but maybe its worth a phone call.
I've been trying to order from chromebolts but the cart does nothing so I tried by fax order and it won't go thru!

I think my wife is putting some black magic voodoo curse on me trying to keep me from buying bolts! "the trucks too high already!"
"I'm only 5'3" wha wha!

If I were you, I'd be looking for local clubfrontier members who can cut and drill the spacers for ya. Meet up, bring your UHMW and everyone saves some money. If you guys were from around here...I'd host.

reids---> ill call metricspecialties this morning and ask for the 160mm or 180mm bolts. ill keep you posted.

by the way, hows the fabrication doing?

no go on metricspecialties. they want 10 for every bolt. what a ripoff. maybe the lady messed up or something. forget that. you gotta go chromebolts.com

I was just reading your first post man. you said you need 6 2" for the bed + 2 2" for the front bumper. so wouldn't that mean you would need exactly 8 100mm bolts instead of 6. then only 4 160mm bolts for the 2.5" blocks? just making sure man. I would probably order 8 of each to be on the safe side.

I'm using the 2" daimeter spacer but drilling the larger hole for a 12mm bolt. This is the same diameter used behind the bumper in the PA kit.
The front mount is only used to hold the front portion of the front clip in place. I'm not changing the bolt diameters at all. By setting it up that way I was able to order only 1' of the 2.5" UHMW.

Remember, I haven't done anything to the truck itself so I know very little right now.

I called them too. She said "ya we have 25 class 10.9's in stock". At $10 a pop they can keep em. I tryed to call Chromebolts and got a machine. Tryed to fax but nothing. Man, this is crazy. I have an account at Fastenal but nothing.
Ace...nothing.

Man, that site had me so pissed today. I got the cart at work and thought it would go so I filled all the info and it dumped me to a search function.

I called Allen and got through. He was pretty pissed cuz his web guy still has the old fax number on the order forms. I faxed my order over.
Said he'll process tomorrow when he gets back.

Looks like I might be on for following weekend.
