Clutch Pedal Adjustment 6mt

Sorry in advance if i am posting this inappropriately.
This is in reference to a previous thread regarding the topic, which I replied too, but have yet to hear a response.

I have a 2012 KC Frontier 6mt. I, like many others did not like the feel of the clutch pedal (toooo long). ToddG posted an awesome thread on how to make the adjustment to shorten the clutch pedal travel, and I made the adjustment. Huge improvement!

The issue is now that I have the clutch pedal roughly even with the brake pedal, the clutch pedal is not fully returning to its upmost position. The spring is returning the pedal most of the way, but the last inch of travel, the pedal just remains. I am able to return it fully by pulling it upward with my toe. This doesn't seem right.... ALSO, at this clutch pedal position, I am unable to put the cruise control switch in a position so that the clutch pedal presses it at its upmost position. I adjusted the cruise control switch with the 14mm wrench to its outermost position, and still it is not able to rest against the clutch. These two factors would seem to equate to the fact that I must have adjusted the clutch pedal entirely too far down to the floor, but again, it is roughly even with the brake pedal.

Honestly, I never use cruise control, so I am not terribly worried about that functioning correctly. I am just concerned that I may be causing strain on the clutch in any way because of the adjustment as it is currently stands. It doesn't bother me that the clutch does not return all the way up (I cant even notice it because it comes up smoothly with the spring and then just stops, but again, at that point I am able to lift it about an inch higher when lifting it with my toe)

I tested the clutch by launching with no gas and it seems perfectly fine. Clutch all the way down in gear and no engagement, and clutch all the way up and about an inch of free play after full engagement.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
I had really begun to hate the clutch of this truck, and my cousin suggested checking the forums out and I was able to quickly find some resolution because of everyones contributions on here!

THANKS TO EVERYONE IN ADVANCE!!
Sorry again if I am not posting appropriately.
