Talking ram air intake?!

Yes, a fully functioning hood scoop to a custom intake setup....it took a lot of creativity to mock this up..i hope you guys enjoy these pics as i will enjoy the new beast...

Dang, nice job on the creativity and guts to do it! It looks clean (duct tape solves everything) - now go get some tickets breaking speed limits...oh wait, gas costs too much.

I just put in the k&n filter but even with a regular filter i felt it function much better than my original set-up not to mention it'll hold up better offroading...

Now that is just sick. Is there a diffrent sound from the scoop vs a cold air intake

DAY 1: after driving it with the k&n in....performance wise:much better than my original set up. nothing but cold air going in and traveling a much shorter distance. it has a much deeper and louder tone than before, a lot of it having to do with the box itself. i was at the grocery store last nite and when i came back out there were 3 people standing around my truck admiring it.

So do you have to have filter in backwards? I noticed it's upside down.

yes it is backwards but flows just the same.....underhood took me about 2 hours on and off including planning(eyeballing it)...hood took 30 mins total to cut and place scoop....
