How tall is your second gen 4 banger?

What's the tallest second gen 4 banger you have seen? Got any links because I would like to see what I got myself into.

you may have the tallest or one of the tallest 2nd gen 4cyl. Might want to add some performance goodies every now and then to make up for it. I could tell I lost some but I can still feel it. I have added a few hp goodies as well though.

Doesn't OC4banger have the CST Spindles? That makes it a 4" lift in front and then whatever he has in the rear, either blocks, AAL or Shackles.

Don't know but Cokeman also has 2" spacers so he will be sitting 6"

Cokeman: Not to pick nits but, if that's an '08 it must be an SE 4 cyl. (w/chrome front bumper). '08 XE has plastic bumper only.

I know what you mean. There's not much available to get more power out of this thing. I'm no speed demon or I wouldn't have bought this truck but 33's do make it slower. I'll just wait for gears to become available I guess.

That's all true for US models but there is no SE 4 cylinder here. All Canadian 4 Cylinder Frontiers are badged as XE models. My truck has the optional appearance package (chrome bumper and 265 70 16 tires on steel wheels). If it was a US truck it would be an SE.

hey Cokeman, were you planning on running those same tires w/ that much lift or are you getting bigger tires? I'm assuming those tires you currently have are about 33's, how's the ride? Does it take longer to brake? Hows gas consumption?

I'm sticking with the 33's. I wouldn't want anything bigger with this motor unless gears come out. It rides a little stiffer but these tires are load range D 8 ply truck tires so you would expect that. It goes down the highway nice and is a real pleasure to drive. Could use a bit more power of course but I got this truck for mileage not racing. Braking seems the same as before but I'm a truck driver so I downshift to help slow down. My mileage went from 400 a tank to 375. That's not bad in my opinion. No regrets so far. I hope it drives this well after I install the CST's.
