nice intake...

Thats a great looking setup.... i also created my own back in October when i got frustrated with a k&n...but i chose to run a dual intake setup. yes, a dual intake. basically, from the air box, it splits into a Y-connector. one end is going across the compartment much like the original set-up and the other is turn 45 degrees down( had to cut fan shroud for this set-up to fit). the filter that is turned down also has a velocity tunnel directly feeding it cold air. it is receiving a lot of cold air and no engine codes have come up since the install. i do have a make shift tornado on both ends for higher velocity of entrance. i will try to have pics up as soon as possible. amazing sound from the 2 filters with a 40 series flowmaster.

For the past few weeks i've been collecting the parts for this kit, and friday i put it all together onto my 07. It is definitley worth the money and really didnt take that long to install. i set it up a smidge different but only so i wouldnt have to cut any wires. ill get some pics up for yall to see. it works excellent and does feel like a sufficient power increase over stock. the sound is also amazing.

Just FYI to anyone that may want to do this intake (from the OP), here is an ebay auction for the MAF assembly: eBay Motors: 03 04 05 06 NISSAN 350Z/G35 AIR FLOW METER/SENSOR (item 140217679393 end time Sep-17-08 14:52:50 PDT) . You may want to ask the seller for a picture to make sure it's the right thing, but this is the cheapest I've found. For a while now I have been cruising ebay to find one of these and finally found one for myself. I finagled an ebay seller into selling me just the plastic tube from one of these MAF assemblies for a reduced price and it's on its way . So here's one for anybody else. Good luck!
