Waiparous Winter Trails Jan 13

Got a chance to test out the new swap, winter trail basically consist of a ton of very steep hill climbs and decents, usually having to get as much speed as you can in 4 hi to make it up (sometimes needing multiple runs). Pics don't really do justice for how steep it really is, even with 4 low hill descent I still ended up gaining to much speed sliding down one decline at about 40 km/h scared shitless.

Would running chains be considered cheating?

A couple of the climbs and decents were icy, there was one climb we were talking about using the hi lift to winch up. It took a long time and many tries(which iced it up even more) but luckily a few of us made it all the way, the rest made it half and were tugged.

It really helps keeping your PSI around 15, a few of the guys only aired down to around 25 and ended up going down more after we all struggled on the one hill.

My locker was virtually useless given the tougher spots were due to it being iced over. And all of the trails themselves are stock frontier friendly, you just want a good set of AT or winter tires.
