for those with cranked t bars

read some on this forum about the cranked t bar mod. really just want to level the truck out, but i also may wheel from time to time. i couldnt find much first hand experience on driveablity effects or offroad effects. also, if i do go 2", will the factory shocks suffice, or do i need longer shocks? thanks.

you should be fine with 2inches of crank. Your camber may not be perfect without new upper control arms, but you should be able to get the alignment close enough to not hurt the tires. you don't have to have new shocks but they are nice. The only adverse effect i have noticed with my t bars cranked up is increased bumpsteer due to the increased angle of the tierods, but it's not that noticeable during daily driving.
