Just had Nisstec install lift yesterday, heading in for a alignment today. Ordered ARB bumper thru them as well which is on back order. In the process of building an overland setup. So far I've installed Shrock skids and Hefty sliders.
That is quite literally a pic of the OME HD spring installed. I did not see the bottom spring coil rubber cushion (encases the bottom coil), did you not use it or am I just seeing things?
Time for more pics of the entire truck, along with some ride height measurements!
If you're using an IPhone then ensure that the home button is either towards the bottom or the right when you are looking at the screen. This is some sort of default setting with these phones.
You'll have to take new photos with the phone oriented as I stated in my previous post with the home buttons towards the bottom or right side of the screen. I haven't found a solution yet for the many photos I've taken with my phone where the home button was oriented towards the left. You can rotate it on your PC but it will still show up upside down once you post it. The same goes for videos taken with your phone. Lol, I've got several videos that I can only view right side up when played on my phone.
You could also open the pictures on your laptop using Windows Photo Viewer and rotate them so they are right side up. Save the pictures then re-upload them.
Truck looks great. I was wondering what the front ride height was because this past weekend I installed OME MD springs and Nitrocharger shocks up front.
Looks like you have Hefty skids, a soft topper, and you also did the OME rear leafs?
Excellent, the stock height should be ~34", so that is 2.25" lift.
Just as a note for future reference (incase people search), I installed OME's MD Duty Springs with Nitrochargers and had 36 1/4" measured after allowing for 2 weeks of settling.
Therefore there is no difference in lift height, but the difference is only in the spring rate. Having the HD psrings doesn't equate to a higher truck, it equates to a suspension better equipped to handle heavier loads (aka plate bumpers and armour).
Hopefully this can help others at some point. Thanks OP for taking the time to make those measurements.
Can someone tell me what the height of the rear is, to the top of the wheel well, stock. Mine is sagging like a bag, so I wouldn't have 'stock' measurement. Will post pics as soon as it comes in and installed.
That's a nice kit too! I think you're good with either of the two. Set a budget and get a quality kit - that's the advice that was given to me by a co-worker who's a big Jeep guy. He builds his own rigs and suggested OME.
