Need advice on AVS Bugshield II installation

Hi all, I followed the instructions on the installation, but I can't get the screws to catch the holes. Any ideas or suggestions would be great.
I did double check to make sure I was sent the right one. So much for a 10 minute install.

I just installed mine this week! make sure the holes line up first, then pry off the runner seal, screw on bugflector then put rubber seal back on...

Interesting- planning on getting one myself, can't make up my mind on this one or the one NISSAN sells.

Are you sure they sent you the right one? I got sent the wrong one and while it looked about the right size and style the holes just would not line up...
