Do you have to be in 4X4 to lock the rear axle/wheels on the NISMO?
Asking because can this be used to stop wheel spin in 2wheel drive on slick surface.....rain etc.

Although I dont have a Nismo, my understanding is that you must be in 4-lo to engage the locker.

yes you have to be in 4low but since its an electric locker you can by-pass this feature if you have any electrical know how. you would just have to find the fire codes and go from there. then you could have 2wd locked rear and 4hi lock to.

Exactly. MY plan is to either go with an ARB when they have one available or try to find an axle off a KC Nismo 6-spd and wire up a switch for the locker. I dont expect either to happen in the near future though.

what axle do you have? if you have the 200 arb already makes an air locker for it.
