I swear I've seen this someplace before. I think it's mislabeled. Why in the hell would Dana/Spicer all of sudden magically build a locker available via the aftermarket that they didn't sell to Nissan directly to go in the trucks?
I would guess NISSAN didn't want to flip the bill. I mean how usable is it in a stock titan plus the warranty of replacing broken shafts. For instance you can't get a front locker in a standard wrangler...you have to go to the Rubicon model with a D44 (Bigger axles not just bigger gears than the D30). And after years of Frontier/Titan diff swaps and request by "the people" maybe they just finally figured it was time Let's hope so...just my 2cents.

Oh and for liability reasons Jeep only allows the locker to funtion in 4Lo and like under 15mph or something like that...again not very usefull in a stock pickup I would think anyways. Just like how we have to do the bypass on the M226 to really use it besides in 4Lo

Its not like every frontier, titan, or xterra has a locker. Only the pro4x. So the locking front diff would only be available in that trim. But seeing as the r180 never had a factory locker its even less likely the titan would have had one developed unless there was a sufficient market. Which I dont know if there is yet.

It seems odd to me as well, if its true and ARB isn't releasing one in the next couple years Im sure I will go the E-locker route.

Aha...mystery solved. Did you notice that most of the sites that come up when you search that part number have the word "front" in lower case letters? Oops.

yes thats looks to be the rear locker. But the great news in all this is that for those that break the spider gears like I have in the past. Now the locker is avail speratly to repair the diff instead of buying another diff assembly should you want to stay with the e-locker
