I know it's kinda late and been covered but is anyone down for a GWNF trip on labor day? I've never been there before and want to try out my truck on some trails. Even if its one or two vehicles going I'll be fine with that. It'll help if someone knew the trails too.

Absolutely! Trails range from mild to wild. You'd wanna stick to greens if stock. What kind of tires do you have?

I wheeled at Rausch. 2" spacer and 1" shackle. It can be done stock height, its all about picking your lines. This time of year you would probably want more agressive tires, at least A/ts. I was there when it was dry and the stock tires worked just fine but with snow/ ice/ water i would definetly get something more agressive.

I have the stock BFG rugged trail with about 60% life left in them. I don't know if I will be able to gather funds for some new tires but I'm really itching to come do this. I've wheeled before i just have never been here. Plus I don't have any recovery gear.

Thoughts?

Havent heard great things about them in poor conditions. But you can always post up in the thread on thenewx and see if anyone has an open seat. And as far as recovery gear goes there will be plenty of other people stofked with gear.
